There seems to be a lot of buzz today about "Google Base". Has nobody else noticed the "Video Blog" link at the bottom of the search results page of the Google Video website? Above are some screenshots. As you can see, the video blogger needs special access. Perhaps this is yet another upcoming release? Let's see... Google Calendar... Google Purchases... Google Base... Google Video Blog... It looks like Google has been pretty busy these days. Just for kicks, on the standard Google Search website, enter the name of any two cities as your search. For instance, search for San Jose to Denver in Google Search. Ok, look... it seems to be a relatively new feature not yet documented anywhere on Google's website.

Some may have misread my post. It isn't referring to Google Video which has been out for a while. It's referring to the fact that they are tying Google Video and Blogger.com together to add a "Videoblog" offering. It is currently at http://googlevideo.blogspot.com and is hidden behind some security. The link for it can only be seen when you look at the very bottom of the page AFTER doing a search on Google Video. It also has the famous red "NEW!" label after the link. Although this is not a new type of offering on the Internet, it is a new offering from Google... not yet released.
